Hello

Jennifer Paddock, NCIDQ, values and represents the fundamentals of good design with each and every interior design project. Paddock Design Group, PDG, is a client focused firm that keeps the client's vision, schedule and budget a priority. Interior design is sometimes described as problem solving, but our work is really focused on helping our clients prepare for a future they can imagine but not fully predict.

Background + Experience

After 15 years in the industry, Jennifer turned her dream into a reality with opening Paddock Design Group. The intent to help, guide and be a beacon of support during a design process has been Jennifer's intent from the start of her career. Listening, acknowledging, developing, designing and executing are the main ingredients for successful design. Jennifer's ability to interpret a client's vision makes her in-valuable for residential and commercial projects. The role of the interior designer is to understand the client’s vision and goals for the project and develops them within the design and Jennifer does just that and delivers time and time again.

Cutting her teeth in an architecture and civil engineering firm, Jennifer was exposed to a variety of commercial, hospitality, civic, educational, medical, religious and residential projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Having full autonomy over the interior design department while mentoring junior designers allowed Jennifer to grow in her career with new experiences and projects everyday. Hosting and supporting over a dozen college interns reminds Jennifer the benefit of staying current with trends, technology and the freshness of one's first professional design. Having designed and implemented over 150 projects for DPR Architecture (formerly Palmer Architects) Jennifer decided to make the jump into project management for a residential and commercial General Contractor, C. Merrill Construction. Her project management position not allowed Jennifer to design the residential and light commercial work the firm was awarded but gave her a broad spectrum of all of the aspects that complete a construction project. Designing, programming, selecting finishes, budgeting, schedules, code compliance, client presentations, site visits and submittals were at the core of every project Jennifer managed.
